The paper reported that REBT changed the low frustration tolerance (LFT) beliefs of an elite table tennis athlete. Athlete and coach evaluation + video analysis, revealed positive changes in behaviour, and performance. The athlete won silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games.

"Is it so Hard to Change? The Case of a Hong Kong Olympic Silver Medallist" by Gangyan Si & Hing-chu Lee (2008) was perhaps the 5th article to report REBT in sport. tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.108…
