So…. Pokemon champions is fun and no where near as bad as the net made out. Most fun I’ve had with VGC since Sword and Shield 🙃 Definitely has some problems but no where near the doomsday social media has made it out to be.

@discord I find it ridiculous that I made a ticket about a hacked account and a large server for a friend 3 days back and the ticket still hasn’t even been looked out. What’s the time frame on these things?

At the same hotel for work as I was for EUIC last week. Naturally I had to wear the fit and bring a bit of Pokemon with me. No where near as fun without Pokedorks around.

I spent practically all of EUIC unwell in bed 😞 feeling like I missed out, sad I didn’t get to see my friends or meet people. I came home early. Everyone out here talking about their atrocious records at Birmingham. Real GOATs of atrocities go 1-6-1 playing Garde. Can’t even compete with that 😮‍💨

@shotgun_tcg Don’t stress about it man. Happened with me too. 1-6-1. We go next. I should have played a different deck. Also if I’m now hearing “coin bonus” in my sleep.

Had a generationally awful run at Birmingham, first time I've been out at round 4. When my deck let me play the game, I shot myself in the foot repeatedly. No idea what I'm doing for EUIC. On the bright side though, absolutely loved every second of the weekend, seeing friends

81st/2344 at Birmingham Regionals! I honestly have no idea how I did it. I intended to play Lopunny/Dusk purely because the deck is fun and I didn’t have any goal but to enjoy myself. Instead somehow I got T128, earned a box, and on top of that this puts me at Ace Trainer!

R1 - LWL to Alakazam (0-1) Paired into @SmattPlays wife to start the day at her first Regional! Had an incredible set but the matchup is super hard losing the flip. Game 3 her Kadabra KOd my Budew because I had no idea it could do that 😂

Bit late starting this but Birmingham Regionals thread! Honestly not playing to win today, just playing a deck I fucking love and want to enjoy 8 rounds of Pokemon tbh. Rounds as they happen (except R1 and R2 immediately) below 😅
