“Reading doesn’t belong to school. It belongs to readers. Value them.” -Donalyn Miller Yes!!!❤️ Allow students choice and ownership in reading and they will develop a lifelong love of reading. Let them read what they love so they will love to read.

Telling children who love graphic novels that "graphic novels do not help you grow as a reader," is not true and diminishes the children right along with the books. Reading doesn't belong to school. It belongs to readers. Value them!
