It has been a pleasure being your Chaplaincy Captains for 2024-2025 Saint Margarets, we will never forget the memories we made and the people we met along the way, we could not thank the teachers and other members of staff enough for the best 6 years- Lucy, Jess, Eilidh, Amy 💕

St Margaret's was making Christmas spirits bright today. Thank you to Lucy, Jessica and Amy for their film "What Christmas means to YOU". We got the hint it might be about being "together".

🎄SANTA ZIP LINE🎄 On the 8th of December 2 of our captains, Amy and Jess, along with 8 of our friends will be taking part in the zip slide along strathclyde park for St Andrews Hospice. We are planning exciting fundraising in school to help raise our target of £1500🕊️ 🎄💜🕊️

Today, our Caritas pupils visited @rcmotherwell for Retreat Training with @motherwellre. Our pupils are looking forward to working with our feeder primaries during their Sacramental preparation 🙏🏼 @MargaretsHigh

Day 7 in Lourdes, our last day sadly, we had mass this morning, lit our group candle, went to the Crown Virgin statue and we are now on the bus heading home.

Day 6 in Lourdes, went to get food for the journey home, stations of the cross and then relaxed with our group for our final night in Lourdes. Got our group photo printed.

Day 5 in Lourdes, this morning we went to HCPT Hosana House for morning mass, went out in town with our group leader, went for our water gesture and out for dinner with our group

Day 4 in Lourdes, travelled to St Savin, visited the restored church, continued on to Pont D’Espagne and had lunch with the group.

Day 3 in Lourdes, free time to walk round the grotto and gather lourdes water, mass in the domain and then torch light procession. 🕯️@smhsRE @MargaretsHigh

Day 2 in Lourdes, tour round saint Bernadette’s home, where she was baptised, her birth certificate and the new chapel in which was built after the old parish burned down.

Day 1 in Lourdes, we travelled to the basilica’s and grotto in which we blessed ourselves with holy water, lit candles for our loved ones and finally partook in the procession to the underground basilica 💕

Night 1 in france for jess and lucy 🇫🇷 Currently on route to Lourdes around 40 minutes away, thank you to everyone who made this possible 💕

Today S6, led by our @SmhsChaplaincy team, made friendship bracelets for our new S1 pupils. They will distribute them tomorrow night at our @MargaretsHigh Welcome Mass!
