Thich Nhat Hanh
Peace in the world starts with peace in oneself. If everyone lives mindfully, everyone will be more healthy, feel more fulfilled in their daily lives and there will be more peace. This collective mindfulness can bring positive change to our families, organizations, communities, nations and future generations.""We are all connected.
When you touch one thing, you are touching everything. Whatever we do has an effect on others. Therefore, we must learn to live mindfully to touch the peace inside each of us.

An integral part of being a Witch is honouring the elements and seasons of nature and feeling how they mirror the cycles within our bodies.

@Ipsofacto123 @StillHopeful05 Overpopulation of Rodents: Without snakes to control their populations, mice and rats could multiply rapidly. This would lead to increased competition for resources and potentially result in crop damage, food shortages, and the spread of diseases carried by rodents.

@StillHopeful05 @SmilGeoff Come on guys. How do snakes matter? They cannot kill a cat. Any snake in the world, they can kill. They are master movers. I understand the dark but not against realities. Good try though.

And the monster? Who is she? She is what happens when someone cannot be saved.

Our Path is simple. In this life we exclusively say the Nembutsu of faith in Amida Buddha, wishing to be born in His Pure Land after death. In the exact moment we entrust to Amida, we enter the stage of non-retrogression, that is, no matter what happens to us, we are assured of birth in the Pure Land. Just like all rivers flow to the ocean, all beings who entrust to Amida will inevitably be born in His PureLand after death. Once we put our faith in Amida, nothing constitutes an obstacle to birth there, not even our evil karma. This is why the stage is called, non-retrogression.
Then, at the moment of death, we actually go to the Pure Land, and attain Buddhahood. Once Buddhahood is attained, we return to this world of birth and death, in various forms, to endlessly help all beings, including those with whom we are karmically related. All these happen because of Amida’s Power. The deluded power of the self has no role to play in our salvation and the salvation of others.

In Victorian times the monkey puzzle tree was known as The Devil’s Tree. It was often planted in cemeteries to trap the devil. It was believed he would try to climb it, get confused by the complex, sharp branch structure & get stuck 🧩
