FG related question: For players who want to consider themselves “good” at a fighting game, what do you consider is your benchmark? Is it something concrete? Something abstract? I’m a bit of a perfectionist in my mind, so it’s hard to define “good” especially when struggling.

I would probably feel differently if I was constantly getting harassed on this platform, so I guess I'm speaking from a place of privilege. It's just hard for me to see the benefit of cutting my potential connections into fractions to escape the awful conditions.

To be blunt: The issues with Twitter and Discord are MORE than enough to merit seeking alternative platforms (and I think it's great that alternatives exist), but I'm personally not convinced that embracing those alternatives amounts to more than self banishment.
