@QuantumV3 Winter fan here, I do not mind that at all.
The key difference with winter is that I can always warm myself up. But cooling myself down is a challenge.
English

notice how all "winter fans" always use cherry picked images at night with no wet shit and dirt piles to make it look good while summer fans can just use any image

@Megatron_ron Every day I wake up and see them get increasingly pissed off that Iran's missile and drone capabilities are way bigger than they hoped and there's nothing we can do about that because their production and stockpiles are untouchable.
English

@redf0undation I heard that China started cooling their reactors with salt which is just the greatest idea ever.

@CatholicCo200 @philosophymeme0 It is worth noting that I'm talking about something close to the type of unit that Amish live with where the entire community is involved in raising children.
Which I suspect is the big reason why they're so successful but I couldn't find any data to back that up.
English

@CatholicCo200 @philosophymeme0 I am not suggesting living in a shared household but this is the only data I could find with the shitty search engines we have today. (Seriously I fucking HATE AI driven search engines, it is impossible to find fucking anything).

@ZackMorrison18 It could have funded 8 weeks of war with Iran.
English

It’s insane what that $80B could have done in the real world.

@sapapple1 Fascist men keep trying to bring it back.
They idealize being a family patriarch.

@Smiley_Gate If the nuclear family was an unbelievable disaster why were you just lamenting its death? You’re literally just jumping from point to unrelated point now.
English

It just feels so fake to me, even if environmentally it’s neutral. Like. Rocks move. I don’t like that we made them not move

it's staggering to me that this kind of callous, shallow recklessness is legal

@rakwussni @Jdjdndhdkdbidmd I'd rather have a public park nearby.
English

@Smiley_Gate @Jdjdndhdkdbidmd I dunno. Having a yard all to myself sounds good
English

@sapapple1 The nuclear family was an unbelievable disaster, it was prevalent for like three decades before we killed it.
English

@sapapple1 No, suburbs never worked. We tried mass suburbification and we hated it so much we killed the nuclear family. But people are unwilling to go back to community units because that involves dealing with people.
English

Pure sophistry.
Suburbs worked fine for generations when we were a monoculture, so did living in city and rural areas. You’re arguing that it’s a problem but can you say you know what 5 of your neighbors are doing, do you even know their names? I’m sure you can list that many celebrities or social media influencers that you obsessively follow.
Literally none of wha you’ve said is the consequence of suburbification
