@LivPetersen @ishaantharoor trying to approach this with as much good faith as possible: if you’re going to keep digging in, it would be nice if you said kind, empathetic or supportive words about your former colleagues who lost their jobs. You have never done so on this account.

@ishaantharoor As you know, there are a gaggle of media reporters who are Post alums and often write about us. I asked and received permission from my colleague to share the sentiment on how there’s not enough acknowledgment of our great journalism. Period.

👀Overheard in our newsroom just now: I'm so over formers continuing to write our "obituary" (air quote) when I can turn on TV, check any news channel and see us and our reporting. Case in point. (points to nearby TV with MS NOW showing last night's drone scoop)

@LivPetersen I don’t doubt it was said in the newsroom and I’m not bothered by internal complaints about the coverage. I’m quite surprised to see such antagonism in public messaging, which is why I asked if it’s the company’s formal view or yours
