I'm seeing some white guys on my timeline saying, "We're okay, we were fine in 2016-2020." Well yeah we're white guys, of course we're fine. But by saying that you're discrediting women, LGBTQ+ people, PoC, SA survivors, immigrants, etc.. Just care a little. WE need to be better.

@SandmanSamu @AlecAKACosmic No. It literally is. How many times do I gotta see the statement, "you don't understand because you're a white man". The second those first 3 words come out in this context, it is definitionally undermining accomplishments and struggles.

You guys do it specifically to assign categories, then weigh a pro-con list of being in said category. It's done purposefully to undermine struggles people have gone through to get where they are.

@SmiteCure @AlecAKACosmic What's so wrong about including the background and demographic information when speaking about a person or group of people. You might not refer to your colleagues as such but you would be doing people of their background a disservice to think it's irrelevant.

@AlecAKACosmic There are a ton of people that are underprivileged. But what you and many others fail to understand is race is NOT the deciding factor of said privilege.

@SmiteCure I don't think it's polarizing to say we should protect underprivileged people. I grew up in a poor, poorly educated, majority white community. I understand that it's difficult for everyone right now. However, systematically, these people still have it harder.

@SmiteCure At the end of the day we're two (I would assume) white engineers who probably don't have many worries in life if we've been grinding Smite this long. We both want people in need to have a better life. I just want to make sure no one gets left behind in this process.

@DidactedSMITE @FaygoQ It's just a cat-and-mouse game. IP/HWID bans are good, but can obviously be avoided. There's plenty of applications out there that make changing these trivial. You could get more evasive as an anti-cheat dev, but now we have the issue of invasion of privacy arise.

@Flareb00t I think this targets more of the system in place as a whole rather than a band-aid options that I mentioned. But I'd prefer the 3450 MMR player to have the spot. More games of a god, at that mmr range, soft implies those games were played at a higher mmr.

Lets make god borders better. - Rank #1 should not be a simple masters border, should be a GM border. - Max god rank border should be locked to your CURRENT rank. A plat ranked player shouldn't be able to exceed a plat god border for example.
