To be successful, you have to be unreasonable. Next time someone tells you that you're not making any sense, you tell them it's cause you don't want to make cents.

@GrantCardone 💯agree - and for those working remote will be stuck and hit a pay ceiling without the potential for growth within their company or other companies. They’ll remain in a stagnant replaceable role. And an inferior employee within an office will outshine a great remote employee.

5 REASONS REMOTE WORK WILL FAIL: 1) Can’t Create Culture. It is nearly impossible to create a great culture when people are only together on zoom calls. How a company treats its customers, employees, vendors on a daily matters. The work ethic and how a company weathers difficulty & achieves its targets should be witnessed in real time to build culture. 2) Unable to predict what team players want & need. The saying “out of sight out of mind” applies here & individuals are not able to develop intuitive skills of knowing & Predicting how decisions effect other departments & projects. Imagine if the Miami Heat or Denver Nuggets didn’t practice together. 3) Unable to benefit from Success & Failures of others. Because the players are remote employees & managment can not benefit from the individual victories & failures of their co-workers. 4) Inefficient - While individuals save time not driving to work more meetings will be required to keep everyone up to date on changes, issues, projects, customer issues, ect. Having to schedule a meeting later in the week to Get everyone up to date on new discovery or change takes more time & lose spontaneity of the moment. Time is money. 5) Individualism - Remote work will cause top players to believe they can go out on their own & weaker players feel isolated. Due to the separation from purpose, the collective and the daily experiences of the group individualism creates a “me” culture, diva syndrome & isolation. Remote work was an emergency response & never designed to be permanent situation. As a small business owner or partner in 26 small companies, the most effective companies are those working closely together & building as a group. What are your thoughts? .
