Based on the fact you’re one of the few people that didn’t throw insults, the issue isn’t really football itself. It’s the reality that people are struggling every single day in that country. You’ve seen old men who were once young boys with dreams never make it out, now raising kids who are growing into the same hopeless cycle. No real opportunities, no meaningful change, just survival. So when the government builds football viewing centres and presents it like some huge achievement worthy of applause, it feels insulting. People should be demanding better because distraction is not development.
