@adamlevitan Miami will pick up a Jennings-type player on a short term deal to be the WR1 but reality is it’ll be a ton of RPO running with Willis/Achane.

Going to be tough to get a true evaluation on Malik Willis as a passer. WR options look something like: 1. Chris Bell (tore ACL in November) 2. Tutu Atwell (dust) 3. Jalen Tolbert (dust) 4. Malik Washington (meh) 5. Caleb Douglas (Brugler's No. 31 WR in this class)

Any time you can draft Daniel Jones without the physical traits at pick 13, you have to do it

I just can't bring myself to buy into this narrative that Les Snead went rogue and McVay didn't want Ty Simpson. These guys have always worked great together and Snead would never take a QB without McVays approval.

@TFG_Football Why not? Les Snead has a personal relationship with the Simpson family. He wouldn’t be the 1st gm to take a power stance on a player and won’t be the last. Ironically, it happened with Lynch and Shanahan when picking 1st round bust, Trey Lance. It was a terrible pick.

@StrongIslandJay @CoopAFiasco Yea exactly. Have to imagine jets use remaining picks on defense/oline depth and then splurge on qb and defense next year. Geno could surprise us all but my prediction is him and Aaron Glenn are gone after this year.

I hate the Jets man. You have Garrett Wilson under contract through 2030. You JUST took "big slot" tight end Kenyon Sadiq. Now you take slot WR Omar Cooper Jr? Really loading up the weapons for Geno Smith, I guess. Nonsense from an unserious franchise.

@StrongIslandJay @CoopAFiasco Outside of picking qb, the jets low key have drafted well. Problem is hitting on qb is literally the most important pick lol. I’m biased as an IU fan but stacking Breece, Wilson, Cooper, Sadiq with an upside qb next year should be electric

@SmittyRealG @CoopAFiasco Can’t argue with that. Jets are putting themselves in a good position to have a strong roster when we pick that QB in ‘27. The biggest issue is getting the pick right.

@StrongIslandJay @CoopAFiasco NFL is year to year. Predicting change/future need is a fools errand. However, point remains the same. Even if oline isn’t the pick, you’ll be getting 3 starters next year to continue building. I’d much rather be jets than browns or cardinals.

THIS SEAN MCVAY VIDEO IS WILD TO WATCH… You can basically see the steam pouring out of his ears after the #Rams drafted Ty Simpson with the 13th pick. McVay wanted to add another weapon so they can win a ring in the final years of Matt Stafford’s prime.

@MLFootball Les Snead just described a project, not a guy you take at 13. Lemon was pick to help win now, and the eventual replacement for Adams. Asinine pick based on nepotism (Snead is friends with Simpson’s father). Absolutely puzzled by the awful pick.

@SleeperHQ I’d be pissed too. Taking a backup when the goal is to win a Super Bowl next year is asinine. History tells us taking a guy with that few starts is a recipe for bust/failure. Lemon was the pick and Les Snead blew it.

@SkolerMurray @HaydenWinks The clear answer is Lemon. Adams is past prime (still a baller), Puka a head case, and Lemon elite in the slot. Notice the Eagles traded up to get him. Good luck with Kyler this year…you’ll learn he’s more frustrating to watch than JJM.

I just watched the entire Rams presser, and I can't say Sean McVay was showing a ton of excitement about the Ty Simpson selection. Said he will compete with Stetson Bennett for the QB2 job. Not a bunch of smiles. Les Snead was way more fired up.
