The last 2 days have been very difficult for me. Some toxic internet haters have tried to drag me and my team into the mud, by misrepresenting a discussion in a casual discord chat. The worst thing, however, is that they have succeeded. They have convinced a large gaming company, Supercell, that I have broken their competitive rules. This is far from the truth and a completely ridiculous accusation. I want to make things very clear: I HAVE NOT GAMBLED ON THE RESULTS IN THE LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER. There are screens where it seems to be the case. However, these screens are from an unserious discussion in an unserious discord chat. Before I joined the chat, people were making imaginary betting deals on the Last Chance Qualifier result. During this, there was hateful trashtalking of my team. People said my team was not even worth betting on. That’s what prompted me to make a statement by saying that I would be ready to bet on my own team. I wanted to show that even in our lowest moment, I still believed in my team, even if no one else did. What seems to be a concrete betting offer by me, was not meant to be taken seriously, just like the previous offers in the chat. I thought this was clear to everyone from the context and nothing that needed clarification. I am shocked that I even need to explain this. Most people who argue the opposite are from 2 groups: (A) haters who want to sabotage for Vatic in every way possible or (B) rival teams who either want an easier last chance qualifier bracket or don’t want us to make worlds. There are many people with interests trying to paint the situation differently than it is. I don’t argue that I have acted perfectly. What I did can be viewed as bad behaviour. Gambling is a very serious topic and not something you are supposed to joke about. However, turning jokes on a discord server into a fairplay issue is ludicrous. I am surprised that Supercell decided to misuse their competitive rulebook, which in itself is fair, in this manner. As I already mentioned there was never any real gambling going on. Still, they decided to disqualify me and my team from the Last Chance Qualifier. In addition, I received a 1 year competitive ban. Overall, this is a very depressing situation. Me and my team were really looking forward to proving ourselves in the Last Chance Qualifier. The haters and bullies, with the help of Supercell, have managed to cut our journey short. I congratulate them for their success. Finally, I want to clarify that making jokes about betting was not good behaviour from me. I sincerely apologize for this. I also wonder if @CoCEsports will hold all pro players to the same standards. Surely there are more cases of pro players making distasteful jokes? Maybe in all those cases a paragraph in the rulebook can be used to justify a 1 year competitive ban?

⚠️ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄 ⚠️ Very shocked and devastated to learn of this decision from @supercell . This is the first time I've been disqualified from a competition after 5 years at the highest level of @CoCEsports . I want to say that I strongly condemn Simon's comments, which could have been considered a rule violation. @simonk_coc spoke out defending the team against others who were trash talking us, and jokingly bet $50 with a troll on our team winning the LCQ. He even said into the same chat that it was obviously a joke! To be disqualified for this seems completely disproportionate! Context matters. Obviously, he fell into a trap set by a toxic person and, no doubt, other individuals you all know who would do anything to see us fall! So far, you've succeeded, but know that being a bad person will also lead to your downfall. However, Supercell needs to understand that these kinds of decisions cannot be taken lightly. This decision impacts the lives of humans and businesses. Of course, we're not perfect and we make mistakes, but we've sacrificed our personal and professional lives for this game for years. Having to say goodbye to our dream for so little is absolutely devastating. I ask Supercell from the bottom of my heart to reconsider their decision and allow us to fight on the field. I accept any other sentence. Even playing for $0, but let us fight! Sincerely, KingsMan
