You really think so? because the only thing I see that looks better in quality on Grok is the skin and maybe the textures. But that means nothing if it doesn't actually follow the prompt. And skin and texture details can be added to fast gens by just editing the photo. Or am I misunderstanding your statement?

@SmokeEx The gap between "fast" and "quality" modes in AI image generators is still embarrassingly wide.

I have yet to find a single image in quality mode that I like. Not even one. They need to work on the weighting. Maybe I'll try it again in a couple months.

@karatademada Don't get me wrong. In my opinion: Quality mode does better skin details. I just often find the prompting does not work right for me. I still get better results from fast based on what I was going for.

@karatademada You absolutely do not need to show your face to be highly successful on any social media platform. I think the only thing that matters is authenticity. Even on YT there are many channels where it's just narrated and they're highly successful.

Do you sometimes feel like the X is forcing creators to post pictures or videos of themselves in the name of “original content”? I’m completely in favor of quality and authentic content, but does originality always have to mean showing your face on camera?! We’re all different. Not everyone feels comfortable filming themselves, and for some people it’s simply a matter of privacy. Originality is much broader than selfies and talking videos, in my opinion. Writing, storytelling, art, photography, editing, ideas, humor, research, creativity… all of that is original content too. What do you think?

@mark_k Unfortunately that is the way I see a lot of those communities going. No one's addressing the real elephant in the room either. They keep talking about the chat. But the real problem is you can't find anybody anymore that has an interest that you have or might have.

Some X users are moving to Discord servers, especially now that X Communities are shutting down. But in my experience, X and Discord don’t mix that well. Discord users tend to stay inside Discord, and plenty of X users actively hate Discord. For most X communities, native group chats on X are probably the better option.

On the one hand, we’re told we no longer get paid for third-party content we upload. Then they tell us the first person to upload third-party content to X “owns” that content and will earn *all* revenue for both that content and all other copies anyone else uploads. I hope we can get some clarification.

It’s not Mother’s Day in my country yet, but I still want to take a moment to send love and support to all the mothers celebrating today. 💖 Being a mom is one of my greatest accomplishments in life. My children are my world. 🥰 I went through a lot during my pregnancies, morning sickness, weight gain, depression… but If I had to start all over again I would do it. That’s our strength right there. As soon as we give birth we forget all the pain and struggles, ready to start all over again. 💪🏼 Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers celebrating today 💖🥰

This is exactly what I said. And I kept getting push back from people. Nikita is good at marketing. Makes a lot of outrageous claims, grandstands good PR moves. But people have whole teams of lawyers for digital rights management, X can't just unilaterally become a DRM firm across the internet. And the laws are completely different depending on the region you're in.

Unfortunately, social media platforms are under DMCA protection. If you, as a user, are doing what you just said, in the majority of the cases, the worst thing that can happen to you is to get that content removed. And the platform is fully covered, as they are just a distribution channel and they have enough legal disclaimers to pass the responsibility to someone who, actually, will get away with it

I know Nikita said it and his team has confirmed it means exactly what it says, but I am very concerned about this move. This means if you upload a video to a competitor platform and someone copies it and posts it here before you do, that person will earn all the revenue from that video, instead of you. Even revenue from all additional copies uploaded to X after the first copy gets posted. I am worried this will essentially encourage people to be the first to rip and upload every new, third-party video that comes out. But here’s the elephant no one seems to be talking about: stealing someone else’s creative works and using them to earn could get you into big legal trouble. Unless that person has given you permission to upload their video, they could sue you for copyright violation.

@monetization_x I said this so many times the other day, and no one listened. X does not have the ability to do digital rights management for platforms all over the internet. Only here with a DMCA notice. Somebody in legal must of reality checked him.

Thank you I have, I did like a little bit of a sitar sound on some of it. I have not been able to do a lot of the stuff I wanted to do because of this injury. Videos etc. This is probably going to be the last album where I do experimental remixes. The tech has gotten a lot more stable.
