@JoshuaYesh70127 Previously, we were only limited to 90 degree rotation. Today's preview allows for 22.5 increments. This video utilises that to create a smoother spinning animation on a custom block.

Respectfully, this is coincidental. It has been stated for a year now that Mojang's next initiative is Better Together. More focus on multiplayer aspects.
We've seen this from the new Mob Maze/Soul Steel initiative, Party System on Bedrock for months, the Safety council and more
