@SmokeyTimRobbo @GabSutton He has everything he wants at us, everything is practically built around him, he won’t leave especially if we get promoted but even if we are in league two next season he won’t go.

David Artell would be a fantastic manager for Rotherham United. Loyal, solid, encourages good football and a proven track record in the EFL. What do you reckon @GabSutton? #RUFC

@AgberoFcBAT @SkySportsPL An even if you say the contact was similar, the Bournemouth player was travelling at three times the speed, so that contact has a bigger effect.

United’s argument of consistency fails the technical test. The Maguire red card was DOGSO (Denial of an Obvious Goal-Scoring Opportunity) an objective foul on a player with clear ball control. The Amad incident involved a contested ball with no established possession. In refereeing terms, these are two completely different categories of play.

Manchester United are to make a formal complaint to the head of referees at PGMO, claiming they should have been awarded a second penalty in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth last night 🚨

@GabSutton Yeah, we’ve drawn with them and we beat them in the League Cup over two legs in the early 90s but we haven’t beaten them in the league.

@SmokeyTimRobbo Is it West Ham? Only because I know you beat Burton, and you’ve definitely been in the same league as the other two

@GabSutton @mattawaters One game great run. Played well but helped by a lucky bounce to get us going. Just like Walsall were at our place last week. Not getting too high but a pleasing win.

@GabSutton @mattawaters My point remains the same. The Crewe experience will have taught him gratitude had a short half-life and that when the opportunity comes to move on you should take it because all loyalty gets you is having to make out it wasn’t all your fault when it goes tits up.

He was killing it with a certain group (that he'd coached at academy level), and when that group breaks up with not much money to reinvest, that's where you need the right operational support. Presumably we can agree on aforementioned Kennard point, happy to differ on other areas.

@dstevens If Bell gets no points in May, June and July this year the board WILL HAVE TO ACT!!!

@SmokeyTimRobbo It’s a great point. Under Bell, every year, without fail (I’ve done a really good chart showing it), the points tally drops off a cliff in May & especially June & July. If it happens again, it’s over as far as I’m concerned. Only so many cracks can be papered over. I’m done.

Lee Bell’s #CreweAlex in 2026 have won more points in February and March than they did in February, March, April, May, June and July combined in 2025.

@GabSutton @mattawaters Also he was his own worse enemy. He shat in his own bed by refusing to play Tommy Lowery and by falling out with Owen Dale over his mental health issues. If he’d managed those two properly we’d have had a chance at staying up.

@GabSutton @mattawaters But all the stuff he said was bad at Crewe was exactly the same 18 months before when he was killing it. If Grimsby went up this year and were bottom with 18 points in 12 months time it’s laughable to think he wouldn’t be getting dogs abuse from Grimsby fans.

@LukeBebbo1996 @StevenDale96 Both games saw early (jammy) goals give out of form, but probably half decent, away sides a massive boost and in both games they rammed home that advantage. We are nowhere near as bad as we looked last week, or as good as we looked today.

@SmokeyTimRobbo @StevenDale96 100% was so gutted against Walsall and ecstatic today, wouldn’t say I’m bell out crowd as always happy to be wrong and get behind him. Need to enjoy the highs and not the lows as fans some rather be correct than a fan

The #CreweAlex Bell out crowd will be quiet tonight I imagine. The ones who support him will be made up. Both “tribes” should probably accept this week and last week are two sides of the same coin and that football just makes fools of us all.

@mattawaters @SmokeyTimRobbo @GabSutton The infrastructure at Rotherham won’t be any better than Crewe (barring the Stadium). We’re stuck in the Stone Age with regard to off the field issues & training facilities.
