We’re developing a semi-open world, first-person game where you hunt supernatural creatures from the World of Darkness. We lean heavily into roleplaying, with a full character creator, multiple ways to solve problems, companion bonding and romance (if that's your thing 😘)

What if every historian ever is wrong when it comes to the dinosaurs??? What if the T-Rex actually had big arms instead of ity bity ones??? What if the way we have ascertained that certain Dino’s look is just flat out wrong?? Like do you know how many times “scientists” have put out images of cleopatra being like “this is what she looked like actually not the last one” 🤣 what if it’s all just wrong and time travelers living among us sit and laugh at us in their hidden little time traveler dens being like “HA! Stupid normie humans. That giant lizard actually had feathers, another set of legs, and could breath FIRE”

@SmolMightBite After Spider-Man No Way Home I took a long break from Marvel movies as well. So seeing the trailer of Brand New Day is some ways is making an attempt to showcase Peter's life as who he is a person without the suit. Give it a watch whenever you get a chance.

@ZeroInc5 I haven’t! Honestly I don’t really keep up to much with the marvel universe. I did see into the spider verse and I loved that! And I think I saw the other newer spider man movies at one point and they were great! Haven’t seen the new trailer yet!

I would take a game that has weird faces and silly looking ass people in it over the DLSS shit any day. I have never cared for the push for things to simply be hyper realistic. And I certainly don’t want hyper-realism so badly that I would ever want it to come in some awful, soulless, uncanny valley ass looking filter. More than half the time when I’m playin a game and a character has some weird look or is doing some odd motion it’s actually HELLA FUNNY and adds to the charm of whatever I’m playing. (In particular I feel people tend to adore the silliness and jank associated with a Bethesda game. Hence why they became so popular!! So I find it funny starfield was used here lol) Individual style is much more important than mass producing one look. There is so much less value in experiencing something that degrades the devs artistic vision in such a way. The whole point of games is to go through a unique experience that you know was worked on with love and care by the hands of artists! Even if it has some silly faces or some off things you know the art was created by people who gave probably years of their life to make it! Hell even if you mode the hell out of your games! You know those mods were created by PEOPLE who just had time annd wanted to create something!! Adding some slop AI filter completely diminishes all of that! Once you start to take away the human factor and replace it with gen AI filters it’s like ripping a piece of the games soul out. Games aren’t made to be perfect. They’re made for entertainment. And if people can’t get over changes in graphical style because they yearn for hyper realism so badly that they would prefer an ai filter, over just experiencing a fun game with derpy faces or non hyperrealistic art styles, they should probably just stick to watching movies.

I’m gonna have to look into some stuff because it will not play this game it out overloading the encoding right now for some reason. Never had an issue other weeks!! I’m gonna cancel tonight and play around with it tomorrow. I don’t want stream to half be me fixing it lol. See ya tomorrow for Skyrim though for sure!
