@WiresTheDog @Mariano52614590 @TigrouDz The first explosion is in sync with the round coming out of the barrel of the T-80 so I would say HEAT too, also the fire from ammunition erupts later and the turret stays on which indicates that the first explosion did not directly hit ammo stowage, so everything points to HEAT.

@GlobalPatriaX @TigrouDz We can't 100% say what tank is Ukrainian or Russian, but the tank shooting and getting a kill is clearly some version of T-80 which doesn't align with your version of the story. T-64 can't reverse that fast and doesn't have a flat shiny engine cover.

@usa_specialist Last BF that didn't have this issue was BF3, it was the last game that hit the ground running and didn't have to look back at current issue and stuff, they fixed a lot of stuff during it's time too, but the issues were never that severe, that players would start to leave.

If cop is in PvP circle it needs to automatically enter combat/under attack state and cannot function as a spawn point as there is really annoying loop of you killing player near it and he respawns, grabs dead soldiers equipment and rushes you without any though, and this can repeat almost indefinitely if you are fighting more than one guy.

Also there is no bull-pup weapon currently so it would be also interesting to see how the weapon is going to handle in this sandbox stat wise.

@GeForce_JacobF Yeah the ambient occlusion looks better but it straight up deleted her shadow that is on her right side in the original image, maybe if Nvidia manages to separate different parts of it like they did with Ray tracing, I'll use just the AO.

In Marathon the theme of the game is clashing with it's art direction, they are trying to portray dark universe full of death and rogue AIs through bright and colorful art and it seems like a lot of people connect such themes with much darker art styles, running parkour game doesn't have this issue.

People will say this looks great but when Marathon has a very similar style of a futuristic/ Sci-Fi look they call it bad. Like come on....

@MathRockSucked This is kinda funny but still I think that we can all agree that default keybinds and some parts of the main menu are absolutely horrible. Marathon wanted to be an accessible extraction game, but I've never felt like this menu was designed for accessibility.

It would be cool if you guys added more non-temporal AA options instead of just SSAA 4x, we need a clear picture to see stuff in the distance not DLSS/Frame gen smear. On the other hand the current DLSS implementation from what I've tested isn't great, so this update I hope at least fixes this issue.

Why does my group of 5 always come back if a new map is released in our favorite game? If I should name a few that would be Contaminated in BF6 which is an absolutely awesome map, I've already spent more hours on it, than the rest of the game. Also Leviathan and the rest of the maps released alongside it in Ready or Not was an awesome time to come back to the game. My group could be just different than most players, but it doesn't seem realistic to me at least.

Controversial take for players. It is fairly well known within FPS studios that statistically new maps do NOT bring back old players or attract new ones. I have seen a lot of data to support this. Players believe it is a huge draw, but the reality is that rewarding players time is more important. Battlefield, a franchise I love.. has failed to answer the question “why am I playing this game” for a decade now.

So every bad game that had the studio closed down after release didn't have real people with families employed there? I hope Marathon is as successful as it can be, I actually want it to be so successful that I want it to fund Destiny 3 and an ongoing live service for the game itself. But that reality seems to be far from the one that is going to unfold sadly. We seem to be looking at very mid game that siphoned resources from D2 and is probably going to stand on its own legs, but I doubt that it is ever going to make enough money for another game.

I may cover Bungie news/drama but I would not take joy in Bungie dying. Bungie devs are real people with families and wanting them to suffer is cruel. We should strive to keep discourse constructive and not inflammatory. I know it’s easy for talks to get out of control but damn

What pattern are you recognizing if you haven't played any games since the first one? There are almost no devs shared between the 1942 and 6. Any air unit in 6 is massively downgraded compared to BF4 and 4 had weaker vehicles than 3. So they've been nerfing the impact of vehicles as a whole since 2013. Also Little Bird in 6 can easily be LMGed to death, you don't even need any rocket launcher. You evidently know absolutely nothing about the current game so you shouldn't comment on balancing the sandbox.

HAH! They did it again... Way back in the olden days of Battlefield 1942, pilots had to be wary of AA guns. The players who enjoyed murdering the fuck out of ground-pounders all day long didn't like that so they whined to the devs who patched in a 50% nerf to AA gun damage. After the patch, a plane could fly directly at an AA gun, being hit the entire time, destroy the AA gun, and fly away with enough life to return to the airfield for repairs.
