Right from page one, but I was already writing the second book in the series. I know that sounds crazy, but my hero's sister and his best friend hijacked my mind. Their story simply had to come first, so I abandoned the other story to write theirs. So, yeah, I started book two before book one. I don't think it's supposed to work like that. 🤣 And I'm always willing to chat about books.

Thanks for the question @SnEcreation. I find the underlying need of being wanted and to be seen and loved deep down is universal. The personality traits that people have to get through are the stories of my books, how they handle the situation, the relationship, their fears etc. I have always made it very clear that I want my mm relationships to be real and have a happy ending as I don't see many books that think we can have normal lives.

@EliasKeaneBooks I'm curious, when you've written across gothic, crime, thriller and romance, have you found that different genres change how people fall in love, or do the characters always end up wanting the same things beneath the surface?
