Confusing part about the Rams-Ty Simpson criticism is how we talk about how bad teams throw young QBs into bad situations before they're ready. Best for development to let them sit. ...and then a good team who's in position to do the opposite does it and they get criticized.

Rams were down Robert Woods and OBJ in the Super Bowl. 32nd ranked run game. Brycen Hopkins, Van Jefferson, Ben Skowronek and Darrell Henderson combined for 125 yards on 22 targets. I don’t expect you to know who those guys are, but if you look back, the Rams won.

I don't know how to break this to you, but the reason the Rams lost a SB run this past season was solved by March 20th: Trent McDuffie Jaylen Watson Bubba Ventrone (?) Joe Cardona We don't have to pretend to play revisionist history — anything can happen this season, so it's a fair discussion RE: passing on a weapon in Round 1, but we really need to stop playing this game of a WR3 suddenly changes their fortunes last year. Everybody and their mothers knew what cost them a ring in '25 and it was glaringly obvious.

Very interesting, Ty Simpson spoke on the radio with ESPN today about pre-draft process with the Rams "We tried to keep this under wraps as long as we could, It was something to where I knew they were interested, but they wanted to make it private and didn't want people to know that they were interested. So I had some secret meetings with Coach McVay and I just was trying to be on script and do what everybody told me and not to tell anybody."
