@HolmanRudy40451 @jockboyfan It's a completely deliberate choice because Kris is neither a woman nor a man. And even if Kris had a more gendered name, even if they were called Manboy Maleson, it's pretty clear they're non binary anyway

@HolmanRudy40451 @jockboyfan In how many countries is the name Joseph (José, Iosif...) given to women 90% of the time over men? Even if it's just 10% of the time, that'd still make it intersex

@HolmanRudy40451 @jockboyfan Kristen and Kristina are both girl names abbreviated to Kris. Kris is an unisex name. Even the name Chris is unisex, although it's heavily weighted to a male viewing

@noname1error @GrassoSamu84485 @fallenjester_ Well, the study fails to engage with the fact that compassion is not a limited resource at all, so by appointing more or less to any ring maybe doesn't translate well to people's real opinion.

@phosuletec @noname1error @fallenjester_ That's definitely it. I was right at first and must have misunderstood something after rereading it. Study 3a consists of two different sections, and figure 5 is made out of the second one which simply asks which ring defines better people's "moral extent." My bad.

@noname1error @fallenjester_ The heatmap from the liberals' side is shaped by the views of 64 people ONLY, so to extrapolate the data to all liberals is also not correct. I'm talking about this from the perspective of someone who isn't conservative nor liberal (I'm much further left).

@noname1error @fallenjester_ Meaning that the outer rings don't hold more moral worth to the survey takers than the inner ones. They just answered, "yes, I care about [X thing], even if it's just a little bit." There's no information about how they rank each ring over the others.

@noname1error @fallenjester_ That is not what the heatmap shows at all. You can look up the study yourself and find that this is figure 5, and each of its rings are inclusive of the ones further in. The survey doesn't even measure personal value, the question was more akin to "Do you care at all about [X]?"

@TheUtytft @rkitchencels Not getting laid, the whole point. Involuntary celibate? He's basically saying that even if women would never look at him sexually, that's no reason enough for him or anyone else to hate on the entire gender. Incels don't have to be hateful chuds, they just have to not get laid
