In a deeply cruel twist of fate, we lost Boots yesterday to an aggressive cancer. In the last year, he had so much progress being fostered by my amazing mom, my family decided along the way that he wasn't leaving. He was ours.

mister boots is getting more and more comfortable every day - he now starts making biscuits at the first sight of a person 🥰 we hope he'll want to leave the safety of his kennel soon, but for now, we will sit here with him and tell him how brave and handsome he is

4 months ago she was adopted, fell out of a window, dragged her broken body under a car, was returned to me, 7 days in the ICU, 3 surgeries, 6 weeks of tube feeding... and now she's built enough trust in me to follow me around and stare at me like this
so yes, I'm keeping Wonton

I have some wonderful news 🥹 TAFFY has been adopted! 😭🩷
This cat was so upset being at the rescue, I was a little nervous for how he'd adjust in a new home. I made sure his new person would be understanding and go at his pace.

📍 SF BAY AREA good morning from Taffy, the senior cat left in the stroller. He's sad, confused, and so stressed. I try to spend time with him and get through to him, but he's so on edge and desperate for attention that he gets overstimulated and swats and chomps.

tonight's rescue 😔
this guy has been enduring horrendous living conditions in a hoarder house for his whole life. the owner died 2 months ago and the house is being cleared out, he's been terrified and hiding in a sink cabinet. he's completely shut down, won't even look up

My son is in the military enlistment office
I'm extremely nervous and worried
I haven't slept since 4am
His tonsil removal surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday
I hope the military enlistment office will be accommodating and grant a postponement for the medical examination by a few weeks
