After 7y in AR as developer then AR DevRel at Apple and Snap, so many folks I met globally took part internally or externally of the Vision Pro release, I am genuinely deeply happy to see how so many passionate and talented people get to take part in a product that is a milestone in the field.
With the nature of my jobs, I have met a lot of people in the field at all levels and positions, but the ones that deeply care and are passionate about building this future that we want to shape are still small group. A lot are discreet, humble, far away from the lights and extremely hardworking.
Having a vision and dedication on this and keeping it for so long while the industry takes longer than we expected to develop, often not generating revenue or getting the public recognition it deserves, dealing with internal corporation politics, being pressured with tight timelines… till fruition, deserve very high praise.
Congrats everyone, this is such an important step for the future we believe in. I am honored if I got to meet you along the way and I can’t wait to get the opportunity to try what you shaped with your hands whenever I get a chance to see this headset in person.
Let’s keep making magic for people 🪄
