@ffSade AI could nvr replace the look and feel of pre-rendered backgrounds like in FF7,8,9 or parasite eve or resident evil og. The amount of detail put in those art AI can not produce.

I keep hearing people say that gen AI will enrich/revolutionize the creative industry. I don’t think I can understand that claim, because when I think about a lot of my favorite movies, games, animations, they wouldn’t have been as memorable if they were just generated using existing datasets. AI creates results, but removes the process of creation. And the process is what makes memorable results. The iconic suspense of Jaws only happened because the shark animatronic broke down, so it had to appear less. Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, was introduced because Odenkirk had scheduling conflicts during that time and needed a character to replace Saul for a single episode. Banks’ performance was so beloved, he became an integral part of the BB universe. Neil Gaiman accidentally misspelled “Caroline” once but liked how it looked- Thus, Coraline became the titular character’s name. During the process of creating art, things don’t go as planned. And those mistakes, accidents, or discoveries, and figuring out what to do with them, transforms your work into something you didn’t expect. It’s those small, human moments that turn a good piece into something memorable- something entirely new. _______ On another note, I always remember a video about Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape Series, AI: Somnium Files) making a Super Mario Maker level. As with most custom Maker courses, it’s challenging and features tons of enemies, sawblades, etc. But at the beginning, there’s a door that directly takes you to the end of the level. You can complete it, but you’ll skip all the gameplay. Or, you can actually play through it all to get to the end. Both choices lead to the same result, but one offers an experience, and one doesn’t. For some reason, I’ve been thinking about that more nowadays.

If you use StreamElements chatbot, be aware of this. If I'm understanding correctly, this is expected behavior and the streamer is responsible... but for creators, be cautious with commands running (touser) or (#) variables if you run other bots alongside StreamElements.
