Israeli soldiers have gone on Israeli television and said they use dogs to r•pe prisoners. Israeli settlers raided a military base in July 2024 and rioted for the “right to r•pe” after reservists were arrested for r•ping a male prisoner to death with a steel bar. After the right to r•pe riots a member of the Israeli Knesset proclaimed that Israeli soldiers had the right to do whatever they wanted to to Palestinian prisoners, including r•pe. Quite literally no group of people have provided more evidence of the widespread, systematic sexual abuse of Palestinian prisoners at the hands of the IDF than Israelis themselves. FT: Saudi Arabia floats Helsinki-style non-aggression pact with Iran

According to the Financial Times, Saudi Arabia has discussed the idea of a regional non-aggression pact between Iran and other West Asian states as part of talks with allies on how to manage tensions once the US-Israeli war on Iran comes to an end.
Riyadh is reportedly looking to the Helsinki Accords as a possible model, viewing it as a framework that could provide Iran with assurances against future attacks while establishing a broader regional security arrangement.
The proposal reflects concerns among Gulf states that, once the war ends and the large US military presence in the region is reduced, they could be left facing a "wounded but more hawkish Iran on their doorstep," according to the report.
The Financial Times claims the initiative has gained backing from several European capitals and European Union institutions, which see it as a way to prevent future wars and encourage regional powers to manage their own security affairs.
Diplomats reportedly said the idea is also being considered alongside broader efforts, including Pakistan-led mediation and emerging defense cooperation among Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkiye, and Egypt.

Today, direct negotiations are taking place between Lebanon and Israel in Washington, and our State sees them as a step toward peace.
So what are the Israeli models of “peace” adopted so far?!
1- Is it the model of Israel’s peace with Mahmoud Abbas, who coordinated with it day and night against the resistance of his own people, until nothing remained of Palestine for him except a few neighborhoods in the West Bank?!
2- Or is it Israel’s peace with Egypt and Jordan, which it violates whenever it wishes between Rafah and the Jordan River, and which has placed the economies of both Arab countries under the burden of blackmail through debts and loans handed out drop by drop?!
3- Or is it Israel’s peace with Syria, which recently expanded from the Golan Heights to the gates of Damascus, even without any excuse of Syrian resistance existing there?!
4- Or is it the peace Israel seeks with most Arab regimes apart from their peoples, whereby it can blackmail the leaders of those states and incite the people against their rulers by manufacturing crises and internal strife whenever it wishes to bring them down?!
The question then becomes:
How can Lebanon — in the worst condition among all its surroundings, the most bankrupt state, the most corrupt system, the most submissive rulers, the unique resistance, and the most dangerously fragmented society — imagine that it is capable of direct negotiations through which it can gain anything from Israel, even with international guarantees from both East and West?!
And which “successful” model among these four Arab-Israeli types of peace are Lebanon’s rulers today rushing to apply?!
Peace may succeed between two strong parties, or between two weak ones, but it is certain to fail between a powerful and arrogant Israeli side and a Lebanese authority that fears for its own survival, submits to foreign powers, and cannot even truly control the chairs it sits on — except when sharing positions and benefits among themselves…

I conveyed Malaysia’s vehement objection in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre regarding Norway’s unilateral and unacceptable decision to revoke the export licence for the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) system and its associated launcher systems, ostensibly to protect Norway’s security.
Malaysia has honoured every obligation under this contract since 2018: scrupulously, faithfully and without equivocation. Norway, it appears, has not felt compelled to extend us the same courtesy and demonstration of good faith.
I made it plain that this decision will have grave consequences for Malaysia’s defence operational readiness and the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) modernisation programme. It will undoubtedly carry broader ramifications for the regional balance.
Signed contracts are solemn instruments. They are not confetti to be scattered in so capricious a manner. If European defence suppliers reserve the right to renege with impunity, their value as strategic partners flies out the window.
