@brown_brye81302 Zoomers know Granny. They don't know Grudge. Most of the playerbase are probably in their mid 20's or younger at this point. FNAF being the most requested license made that pretty clear. As for Fallout, DBD isn't really a horror game anymore on a mechanical or atmospheric level.

For me, it’s more of a disappointment with the player base. What do you mean Granny is the same percentage as the Grudge? Why is Fallout, Among Us, and more voted higher than actual horror properties? Regardless if BHVR listens, it shows community interests.

I wanna highlight this reply so I can talk about the surveys real quick. I think a lot of people will take their license being at a lower spot as a point against their license coming, but it doesn't really matter. I highly doubt DND was high in the 2023 survey yet it made it in

@ChainsawMan4DBD Instead of drifting, it would be more like dashing very slightly to the sides to reorient yourself, and you'd have to do this before attacking which would give the survivor and killer a window to guess where they'll each aim and readjust.

@ChainsawMan4DBD I had it in mind for an Evangelion if it ever got a chapter, but with the added ability to send out an AT field that can lock in place and "block" a door or window. Survs can still pass through it but getting launched at it is an instadown, so they choose whether to risk it.

@jifour98_ He either says these things or he admits that they bloated the FF7 remake into a trilogy because they wanted more money and overestimated the demand for FF7 in the 2020s. From a corporate perspective he can't say anything other than this nonsense.

Yoshi-P says if they were to Remake FF6, FF8 or FF9 they’d probably have to release them in 4 or 5 instalments because they are so big! “Of course I understand the feelings of the players, but you gotta think about it. Look at Final Fantasy VI, it’s such an incredibly huge game. The scale is just immense. And the same applies for other titles like Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX. So of course now because you are working on the Final Fantasy VII series. I do get that people would be asking for Remakes of other titles. But if we did remake those other titles. We’d probably have to release them in 4 instalments or even 5 instalments.”

@ChainsawMan4DBD Metal Gear would definitely get a survivor at least. Tomb Raider shows that non-horror characters can be standalone survivors, and Konami would never refuse this after Castlevania.

@theonedude99 JJK is arguably the most famous anime atm. It also helps that it's established on horror themes and some tropes of it, which would make it a possible ip for a chapter. If BHVR rides the JJK hype train it has rn, it'd make them A LOT of money.

@HensDBD The addon needs to be fundamentally reworked, not nerfed. Disable exhaustion perks just for existing is bad addon design. All the other killers with similar addons still have to do something to earn it, such as Unknown hitting a direct UVX hit or Vecna using dispelling sphere.

Sauna Rock always had the weakness of not countering sprint burst and Dramaturgy , add-ons still decent to counter lithe and dh but a bit disappointed to see it go to 3 seconds Definitely overkilling it here
