A coursemate in Uni invited me over to her house to eat. We lived close to each other. On getting there, there was another course mate there, a girl that liked me. They’d both set me up to be there on the pretense of eating. The one that invited me actually cooked and said she was coming. She wanted to go get water. I don’t entirely agree with this sha, as cruel as many people can be on here, good ones still exist. When I wanted to go to culinary school, I got help from this same twitter and I’ll never forget or take that for granted. On different occasions, I’ve had people try to talk down or shame me with “no be you dem gather money for send go culinary school?”, I always answer boldly with “yes, na me”, you can’t shame me because I asked for help to better my life, I still tweet same way I’ve always tweeted and didn’t have to change anything about myself because I got crowdfunded for,you wan whyne meat man ke??….If at any point I still need help and I can’t get it done myself, I’ll still ask for help.
