But reacting 30ms before the other team *when skill gap is narrow and balanced, like in pro leagues* is a big advantage, there is a reason why big tournaments are played on LAN.

@zwuvi @ChardySPX If you arent ragebaiting and genuinely believe its not a big disadvantage giving 30ms of added reaction time to team A against team B when map knowledge, aim and comms and mechanical skill are really similar between the 2 teams then i dont believe we can get to an agreement.

@zwuvi @ChardySPX Its obviously not the same, gaming is held back by a bunch of latency, server ticking rate, your ping, your monitor, hardware inputs, human error and so on. But making someone react 30ms slower on a competitive setting where mechanical skill gap is low is very significant.

@ChardySPX games have alot more going on than a simple reaction time difference and a general understanding and focus of the game will make a huge difference in actual moments. i have a 99% percentile reaction time and that doesn't stop me from being killed sometimes

@Notimpo84278085 They can optimize this game for consoles, but the hardware this game requieres to run at 30fps with upscaling is already at level or above a PS5 Pro. Even with PSSR it would be a miracle if this game can run at a consistent 60fps on native 1440p on consoles.

No obstante, el efecto final sigue siendo el mismo y ese es el que no pueden jugar en Linux, al usuario comun verdaderamente se le es irrelevante de quien es la culpa, solo le importa el que no pueda.

@_MichaelHeat_ Mientras que esto es cierto, el problema yace en que ese 5% de juegos tienen a la gran mayoria de los jugadores atados a ellos, entonces verdaderamente no importa cuantos juegos corra Linux, importa que esos juegos sean los que juega la vasta mayoria.
