@Snide_Remarks My mom used to tell me about the tanks in the streets of DC back in 1968. It was just a couple years before I was born.

This was in DuPont Circle during the 1968 riots following MLK’s assassination when both federal troops and National Guard were deployed.

This was the first car to drive through the tunnel under DuPont Circle. Some early cars had a steering wheel on the right.
