Snip & Sketch for Windows 10

When @SnipSketchApp works? Super-easy. Win+Shift+S, drag, done. When it stops working? Hit PrintScreen, open MSPaint, paste entire screen in, select part I want, Ctrl+C. Too much hassle.

Once again @SnipSketchApp randomly decides to not work out of the blue, after four months of no issues. Anyone have suggestions for 3rd-party alternatives that let me easily cut out a part of my screen and save it to the clipboard?

@vsterkin @stenrick @Windows You're right that we know annotations is the top feature request for us. The continued feedback and upvotes is not for that, it's to help us make a case for why this should be funded over the long list of other Windows work. So it really does make a difference 🙏

@vsterkin @stenrick @Windows Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The prioritization process is complex as it has to deal with all the work happening across Windows, so I can understand that it is frustrating being on the outside without any view into this.

@vsterkin @stenrick @Windows I understand your frustration. The annotation tools was and is still the top item on our todo list. The icon update is just a minor change as part of the all up icon refresh, so think of this as a freebie.

@SnipSketchApp @stenrick @Windows Shapes and arrows have been requested from the get go, you already have a collection with plenty of votes. How many more do you need? A new icon was neither heavily requested, nor made the tool better. That's how we see your prioritization process from the outside.

@SnipSketchApp There’s one thing snag it does but snip sketch doesn’t do - adding text/lines/arrows etc. is this in your roadmap?

@SnipSketchApp You've left me. 😢 I get a tease of being able to snip an area, but the actual snippet is now elusive. S&S 10.1907.2471.0 in Win 18363.752 in a Surface Book 2. Have reset and reinstalled app. Whole Windows install is barely two weeks old; clean format.

@readingdancer Hi Chris! Would you mind elaborating a bit on what you're trying to achieve? If you want to save a snip to cloud storage you can always use the save option and navigate to the OneDrive folder on your PC. But it sounds like you might be trying to do something else?

@SnipSketchApp Is there a way to push an image to a web service? Or is there an API that would allow me to provide this functionality when someone clicks share?
