@jaycerifit Did the same thing was 300 away from a payout already up 700 on the day managed to hit dll in the same day. Next day comes around was up 600 before ny session wanted to get another 600 to return the loss and blew the account🙂

I woke up late. Took a bad trade. Got out of it early. Feared it was moving without me and got back in. Took a full -1R loss. Took one more trade; -2R. Next thing I know I blew the accounts. Y’all saw it first hand, 2 days in a row of just missing a payout and now I’ve blown the accounts. I was FAR too focused on this and knew better. The second you give power over to “passing a challenge” or “reaching payout”, the end is near.. my ego just got the best of me. 47 days of discipline and not tilting just for one off day to throw it all away. This is the reality of trading. Yes, I’m annoyed at myself but I actually want to take this moment to celebrate how far I’ve come since August when I started this challenge.. -> 8 weeks in a row green -> 3.5R per week -> +28R total -> $1800 in payouts -> $408 all-in cost of PAs -> +340% return -> 47 days following my rules/staying disciplined and avoiding tilt. I have proved to myself I am profitable and know I can do it again. I’m not in the slightest bit concerned in my abilities. Today taught me how strict you really need to be with your mind & routine because the tiniest deviation can cause the ship to sink. Another lesson: I played this past 8 week period VERY conservatively.. my risk was 1/20th of max drawdown per trade. Had I even been at a modest 1/10th risk, my payouts would’ve doubled. My PnL curve showed a max consecutive loss of 4R. So, I could’ve even gotten away with 1/8th, making my total payouts 2.5x greater. Moving forward, I’m going to readjust my risk size to 1/10th and get back to what got me so successful in the first place: Staying true to my model and being disciplined. I still have 1 $50k account open with Lucid. I will post updates from there and make updates as I secure more accounts. The past couple weeks of PA have really gotten to me. I hope y’all are surviving well. 2025 has showed some of the most difficult PA and trade environments. If you can make it out of these times, you’re built to make it greatly in this industry. I’m not taking a break nor slowing down a bit after this hiccup. If anything, I’m hungrier than ever to reach a higher high. Growth is never linear. Set-backs are almost guaranteed. It’s how we choose to respond that shapes our destiny the most. I’m only 20 months into futures trading. I’m still very much learning/growing. All I want to do is prepare myself for a killer 3rd year and I feel this is a necessary part of that foundation being built. Minor set-back for a major comeback 🫡
