ESSENTIAL SETTINGS IN SAVE THE WORLD ⬇️ By default, Save the World has a lot of essential settings turned off, here's what to turn on as a new player! 1. Game UI Settings - Turn on Health/Shield Numbers This shows your full Health and Shield stats in your health bar, genuinely no idea why this is off by default - Turn on Team Member BluGlo Essential setting that lets you see how much BluGlo your teammates are holding 2. Save the World Game Settings - Automatically Apply XP For new players, turn ON Automatically Apply XP, for experienced players they may want to keep it off - Adjust Automatic Recycling/Retiring For newer players it's best to leave all these on Common. For experienced players who don't want their inventory flooded, set it to Rare. Anything you don't have in the Collection Book already will be collected rather than recycled.

Full "Guide to Saving the World" Questline + Rewards 1. The Nuts and Bolts ✦ Destroy cars in any hex to gather nuts and bolts for ammo - 1000 Light Ammo - 1 Uncommon Ranged Schematic 2. Soldiering On ✦ Activate the Suppressive Fire passive by landing consecutive hits on the same target ✦ Activate the Stay Frosty passive by getting 3 eliminations in a row, then use it to shoot husks with enhanced shots ✦ Eliminate Husks with any ranged weapon in any zone - 1 Uncommon Assassin Sarah - 1 Uncommon Sword Schematic 3. @archer_fortnite One of the few remnants of OG save the world. I don’t think there’s too much that uses the old lighting and I assume there won’t be after a while.

Pointless info but, the Atlas Tutorial Map still uses the actual original 2017 Lighting since it was never updated to the main STW TODM I don't expect this to be around much longer since Epic is doing it's big visual refresh of STW 🤷

@JoellJoelly Huh- intriguing I don’t see it used very often in 160s. Maybe I’ll have to give it a try just would have to find the build for it. I believe I should have the heroes for it they may just not be 144

@SnoKitsune Its 6th perks seems to apply to each shotgun pellet dealing like 8 times more damage than intended. Use it while you can before epic patches it

Trigger Boxes of every Wall Trap in Save the World When the enemies walk inside the boxes the trap activates, Wall Darts' trigger is very slightly over 3 tiles

@x103p Real I’m glad my (I believe I was either 15 or 16) bought and invested in save the world. I hadn’t bought any V-bucks in probably nearly 4 years

dude i'm actually so glad 13 year old me decided to get founders I genuinely just got like 500+ vbucks in less than a week this is better than buying og renegade raider in 2017

@archer_fortnite It’s unfortunate a lot of founders only really care for the V-bucks and not the actual game. And there are a few who brag about getting free v-bucks to non founders it kinda kills the game for new players that they can’t get v-bucks anymore

Personal talk about non-founders being upset at Founders for being able to earn V-Bucks, and why I didn't have automatic mission tweets until recently.

I may stream ffxiv tomorrow. There is a chance I will since I’ve been playing it recently, would probably just show myself going through a couple of things since I can’t continue the MSQ at the moment.

Two Employees responsible for STW’s Original Character Designs and Story were apart of the massive layoffs today. 💔 -Vitaly Naymushin worked on multiple iconic STW Character Designs -Nik Blahunka was a lead writer for Epic Games and contributed to STW Storylines (noticed by @Rezztro & @ForsakenLok)

@Eshenta_ Be a founder, (have bought one of the four packs before June 2020) Check daily for v-buck missions and daily quests for V-bucks. Is unfortunately the only ways we did have another way before it was removed

@Wasting_Night Yeah that’s really unfortunate I wish more people were into the game outside of just for the free v-bucks.

I know this is because of the V-Bucks missons today, but I'm kind of surprised that there's still that many active Founders. lol They really did get activated like sleeper agents when those F2P teasers dropped.

@Sofoets A lot of people in 160s don’t know the basic fundamentals of the game because they aren’t really explained well. And I believe the chrome husks aren’t really explained either until you progress further into said quest line they just appear from the beginning

how do you get all the way to twine peaks 160s and still dont know how to kill chrome husks

@archer_fortnite I was about to say, isn’t this the highest amount of V-bucks that have ever been offered from dailies before. As it’s rather rare to get more than 100.

As of March 21st 2026, the highest recorded V-Bucks/X-Ray Tickets in a single STW mission reset is now 300. Before, it was 285 back in 2019 with 8 missions, back before missions all gave the same amount.
