I know they do a leaf pile every autumn for the dogs, but the weather wasn't kind enough... Until this happens... 🐶❤️

I know we said, no leaf pile this year, but look! Jamie made it happen! So we had a bunch of leaves fall, then we got a ton of rain and snow, and it kind of just ruined most of the leaves in the yard. Jamie and I decided that no leaf pile for the dogs was the best answer, as the leaves we did have were gross, and just falling apart. Yesterday I ran to the PO box to pick up the mail you guys send to the dogs, and I came home to a GIANT leaf pile in the yard. I was so happy I cried, and I think the dogs were just as happy! Now I know this seems silly, and I know my brain shouldn't go to those places, but I had a moment of, what if that would have been Memphis's last leaf pile? What if she doesn't make it to next fall? Which Memphis is only 10.5 and she totally is going to live forever, BUT for some reason it made me so sad thinking about the dogs not having a leaf pile this year. So when I came home to a giant pile in the yard, I was so freaking happy! And yes we filmed the dogs having a blast in the leaves! Sometimes, it's the little things in life, but more than that, it's the memories that we will always have.
