Feeling overlooked and uncared about is a difficult feeling to work through because of how it makes us feel helpless. But, I have come to view those feelings as relics of dependency. Being cared about is nice, yes, but the greatest source of care is self care. Choosing yourself in moments of dread when you feel forgotten about is healing work. Whoever made you feel like you should care what they think about you is gone now. The work is hard because you are having to relearn yourself and the amount of energy that takes is exhausting. Breaking patterns causes fatigue. But, in the words of one of my great inspirations, remember: You are what you love, not who loves you. 🦋

Does anyone want to be my assistant as I prepare my Saoirse debut? (The Kintsugi owl design) This would mean that you would not get any big reveals. All of the projects I currently have for it you’d know about. I’m just looking for organization, reminders, light writing/editing work (not video editing) and small bits of management. It isn’t intensive, just enough to keep me focused. Ideally, I’m looking for someone not too involved in my community so I don’t spoil anyone who has been following the Saoirse development for a while.
