@gobbyvlr @SnoggyVal I mean It’s an fair argument that he had world champions. But again world champions can be experienced players, but maybe he wanted more supportive, young & upcoming players. It’s an never ending loop, but he did have a lot of really good players historically, you’re right.

The reaction from the public being that this is a bad move for FNATIC makes no sense to me lol. Nobody from outside perspective can arguable say much about a coach. You can argue that ENGH hasn't provided results to KC. But you also don't know how much an org affects the budget

@SnoggyVal Yeah people will look at KC and compare it to current and past FNC. Honestly I think ENGH will provide some creative ways to approach Boaster’s gaps macro but also micro.

@SnowiVAL I think FNC signing him will certainly be interesting. AFAIK his approach to the game is very much player-driven innovation and ‘Any comp can work’ which I think could work very well with Boaster. But by the same token, FNC need someone who can squeeze the last 10% out of them.

@Xeammi Solid questions and answers are provided with time. It will definitely be interesting to follow FNATIC for the next stages.

@SnowiVAL And he even won a kickoff, that’s no small feat, especially with the team he had. To me, Engh is still a gamble atm, but did Fnatic have any other options for a T1 coach if they wanted to bench the old staff? I’m not sure.

@Xeammi It’s arguable that KC’s past success, which has been low was a big factor into their budget and expectations from the outside & players in talks with them.

@Xeammi Oh absolutely, signing players and transferring players to your club takes time. But also a driving force will make the player want to sign with you. Usually those are either salary, culture / team, or even the organisation.

@SnoggyVal Possibly leaving you with your third options and players you needed for a system to work. But at the end of the day, I will never know why KC didn’t work with ENGH & is he a really good coach. If anything, FNATIC signing him tells me that he is good. Also possible that he fail

@SnoggyVal I am not so much in the T1 scene but I have talked to people in the T2 scene and know that sometimes even them don’t get sometimes the players they want. But it can be a cycle of I want certain players -> can’t get them and the 2nd round of players went to other options.
