was molested by my stepfather when I was 12-13 years old. He started by showing me his cock when my mom wasn’t around and it progressed to him making me kneel in front of him and giving him head. He would cum in my mouth . He would use me maybe 2-3 x a week. After awhile, he started pulling down my pants and fondling my cock. My family owned a small business that my grandfather started from nothing, and for years, it was what kept all of us together. When he died, everyone thought the business would bring us even closer, but money quickly turned the family against itself.

My landlord gave me 24 hours notice for an inspection the same week my husband had walked out and left me with 2 kids, no income, and a house that looked exactly like what it was, a place where someone had just left in a hurry. I spent that night trying to hold it together enough to clean up and failed completely. The inspector showed up the next morning, walked through the house, wrote something on his clipboard, and left without saying much.

If the smell of cannabis bothers you, but not the chaos, violence, abuse, and death that comes with a night of drinking alcohol... You are 100% a part of the problem.

My younger sister called me crying at 6:30 in the evening. She only said one sentence. "I think I just got someone fired." I threw on my clothes and drove straight to her apartment. She was sitting on the front steps, still wearing her work uniform. She hadn't even gone inside.

A former Alabama attorney has been arrested for allegedly trying to poison her husband. Twice. She got arrested the first time, posted a $400,000 bond, tried to poison him again, and got arrested again. Despite that, her husband still loves her and is defending her in court.

I bought a house with clear title insurance. A year later, the title company told me part of my backyard wasn't mine. When I purchased the property, the title search came back clean. The survey matched the legal description, the lender approved the loan, and the title company issued an owner's title insurance policy. About a year later, the county began widening the road at the end of my street. During the engineering survey, crews discovered that a subdivision map recorded in the 1960s didn't match the legal descriptions used in several later deeds including mine. According to the corrected boundary analysis, my rear property line was nearly twelve feet closer to my house than everyone had believed for decades. The problem wasn't just a fence. Half of the deck I'd built after moving in, along with part of my irrigation system and landscaping, sat on land that legally belonged to the property behind me. My neighbor had purchased his home years earlier using the same incorrect records. He wasn't trying to take my yard his deed simply described more land than mine did. The title company hired its own surveyors and attorneys. My neighbor's title insurer did the same. After months of reviewing old plats, deeds, and county records, everyone agreed the mistake had originated with a.............

I was the last customer in the bookstore when the owner locked the front door. I checked the time. They were already closed. I apologized and started toward the exit. "It's okay," he said. "Take your time." As I walked to the register, I noticed an elderly woman sitting alone in the corner, reading a novel. She wasn't shopping. She'd been there since I'd arrived almost an hour earlier. I asked if she was waiting for someone. The owner smiled. "No." "Then why are you staying open?" He looked over at the woman before answering. "Because if I close too early on Thursdays..." "...she has nowhere else to go." I looked back at the woman. She was completely absorbed in her book. The owner lowered his voice. "Her husband used to pick her up every Thursday after his doctor's appointment." He paused. "He passed away last winter." I offered my condolences. He nodded. "The first Thursday after the funeral, she came anyway." "She bought a cup of coffee, picked a book off the shelf, and sat in that same chair until closing." He smiled. "She's been doing it ever since." I asked why he didn't just tell her she was welcome to stay during regular hours. He looked at the clock. "I did." "She said it isn't about the books." I frowned. "Then what's it about?" He glanced at the empty chair beside her. "She told me... ...it's the only place where she still feels like someone is coming back for her."

Everyone remembers the bride who ran away. Nobody knows the real reason I left. Even now, twelve years later, people still whisper when they see me. They say I got cold feet, embarrassed my family, or ran away with someone else. None of those stories are true. The real reason stayed with me for years because I knew no one would believe it. I was twenty-six when I was supposed to marry Daniel. He was kind, successful, and loved by everyone around us. My parents adored him, my friends envied me, and our wedding looked like something out of a magazine. The church was filled with smiling faces, beautiful flowers, and soft music. Everything seemed perfect, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. As I stood beside Daniel waiting to exchange our vows, I noticed his hands trembling. At first, I thought he was simply nervous, but then he kept looking toward the back of the church as if he was waiting for someone to appear. Seconds later, his phone vibrated inside his jacket. He quickly silenced it, but not before I caught a glimpse of the screen. The message read, “I’m here. Don’t marry her.” My heart began racing. I quietly asked him who had sent it, but he forced a smile and whispered, “It’s nothing.” I knew he was lying….

My male gynecologist complimented the location of my cervix today, and I genuinely don’t know how to feel. I was lying on the table, feet in the stirrups, staring at the ceiling tiles just trying to get through the annual exam. The room was freezing. Suddenly, he paused mid-procedure. "Wow," he said, sounding genuinely impressed. "You have a perfectly positioned cervix. Truly textbook. It’s exactly where it’s supposed to be." I froze. I muttered a confused "oh, thank you?"

Story Time! As a teacher, one of the most important things I have learned is that parents don't always see how their choices affect their kids. One year, I had a student who broke her glasses over a year before. Her parents were divorced and were fighting over who had to pay for the new glasses. Keep in mind, this was the second year of school they were having to go without glasses. Her grades had completely tanked and she did not play at recess. She would stay by the door and wait for the bell. Yes, the school has people come and do vision screenings and they had even had an opthalmologist come and give all the kids who needed glasses a prescription for free! But the funny thing about that is... You still have to **buy** glasses. At this point, it was clearly more about the justice between parents than the financial need. She had broken her glasses between houses and it wasn't clear who the responsible party was, and they both thought it was the other.

I spent two years writing a novel. Ninety thousand words. Every lunch break. Every weekend. Countless sleepless nights. I turned down invitations. Skipped vacations. Missed birthdays. Because I believed I was building something that would outlive me. When I finally typed, “The End,” I just stared at the screen. I cried. Not because the story was over. Because I’d actually finished. It was the best thing I’d ever written. At least… that’s what I believed. The next morning, my laptop refused to start. I wasn’t worried. Computers fail. People fix them. Except this time… they couldn’t.

Every autistic child deserves to meet an autistic adult who isn't trying to hide what they are. Someone who can say: "You don't need to become less autistic to deserve friendship, respect, or a future." Because growing up without autistic role models often means spending years believing you're simply broken.
