Gunfluencers have set such unrealistic standards for speed and gear that normal dudes are intimidated by the thought of shooting on the clock.

The biggest psyop in the gun community is people too scared to hit the competition scene because they dont want to look bad or have a basic setup. Not validating your skills and equipment while identifying your strengths and weaknesses is simply being a cuck.

Its not my best performance. This is my first time shooting irons in a match. This shit would be practically impossible if I were point shooting or over confirming every shot.
Most people who talk about point shooting can't shoot at all.

Point Shooters have never been taught how to shoot fast using their sights. They're probably still wed to equal height, equal light, hard front sight focus, and they're overconfirming their shots. Meaning, they're requiring more sight picture than what is needed. @Snugglebuffins @sorrynotsoryu It was good but a lot of the people there don’t have a ton of experience with rifles so getting them to do stuff with ARs on the fly was a learning experience.
Learning how to breathe properly when it’s hot and your heart is pumping wasn’t something most had mastered either.

@sorrynotsoryu Well the places I’m at usually don’t have too much distance, so anything that gets the heart rate up first to focus on breathing and exhaustion.
I had my friends run a few laps in the sun before transitioning to a few spots.
I also love a good kasarda drill.
