@evilwizardbunny Stop putting it off. It can get infected and your entire head will feel like a throbbing mass of hell. My wife said I was delusional and literally asked the dentist if it could go to my brain and he was like ‘absolutely’ 😉

i read everyone’s replies and have been trying to imagine wanting my fiancé to spend 2 hours picking me up from the airport and i just can’t. our time is finite and largely shared. my goal is to minimize the amount of time we spend sitting in the car. i’d so much rather he spend 2 hours working so that once i got home we could go do something fun together for 2 extra hours. also ppl seem to find ubering to be stressful. i don’t understand? you’re being chauffeured around like a head of state or something, it’s chill af. way better than being on a plane.

@vurnt22 Absolutely agree, but I have to say Jacob’s Ladder leaves me far more unsettled and melancholy.

I’ve always connected that film to Jacob’s Ladder, for some reason. Deserves a rewatch!

@vurnt22 I have big hopes that in the next few years a decent version of a Laird Barron story will be produced and scratch that itch in a nicely modern way.

It’s another in the Failed Lovecraftian oeuvre. Reanimator,(1985) , is a superior film to Beyond, mainly because of Jeffrey Combs’ inspiredly loony Herbert West. As fun as that film is, it’s not Mythos. It’s incredibly frustrating that Cthulhu his not yet been realized on screen.
