The shelters at Mile Square Regional Park - Freedom Hall and John F. Kennedy High School reached capacity. We opened an additional shelter at Oceanview High School (17071 Gothard St, Huntington Beach) to assist those impacted by the Garden Grove hazmat incident.

At the request of local officials, we have opened an emergency shelter at Freedom Hall (16801 Euclid St, Fountain Valley) for those impacted by the Garden Grove hazmat incident. Our volunteers are providing a safe place to stay, meals, hydration, and more.

In coordination with emergency management partners, the #VeronaFire shelter at The Well Church (2700 W Johnston Ave, Hemet, CA 92545) will close tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. Thank you to our volunteers and partners who continue to help those displaced return home.

Garden Grove Evacuation Center is now open: Garden Grove Sports & Recreation Center 13641 Deodara Dr Garden Grove

OCFA hazardous materials teams are on scene of a leak in a large holding tank in Garden Grove. Out of an abundance of caution, areas north of Garden Grove Blvd, east of Monarch St., south of Orangewood, and west of Beach Blvd are being evacuated.
