👀Was digging into #ProductHunt launch strategies today… and ended up getting distracted by @SoWorkHQ, an AI-powered virtual office trying to replace Slack. Some quick thoughts: 1️⃣ Remote teams focus → feels like an always-on Zoom room. You “work beside your team” with open audio. Might help with team cohesion/management.🤔 2️⃣ RPG twist → you can dress up your avatar, earn badges, etc. At first, that’s what hooked me😂. But core functions are still Slack-like: IM, meetings, docs, org structure. 3️⃣ Challenger to Slack? → Not sure. The pitch is stronger emotional value (presence, connection) rather than fundamentally new productivity gains. And ToB buyers care a lot about stability + brand, which is tough for a startup challenger. Cool concept, 2yrs polished, slightly cheaper than Slack… but I wonder: does the “continuous voice channel” really change collaboration? 🤔 #startups #AI #ProductHunt #UX #remotework #virtualoffice #Slack #productmanagement
