I’m nowhere near done with this championship, and I will do anything necessary to hold onto it for as long as I can. Anyone who genuinely thinks they deserve a chance, I've never been a difficult individual to locate.

However, no matter how wonderful Finn Bàlor might have been. He was extraordinarily unsuccessful in his attempt to take this title from me. In this industry, people often claim that respect is something to be earned, and you have certainly earned mine.

Yet, as I stand here in front of you today as a fighting champion, that’s all I aim for. Finn put up an incredible fight against me. He put everything on the line for his people and for the world heavyweight champion.

Something he is aware of as being true. Over the past few years, he has lost sight of everything. But I am going to remind him by bringing the very best out of him. I also knew it was a challenge that was not going to be easy.
