The judge issued an 8-year sentence but stayed it, placing him on probation instead. He will only serve prison time if he violates probation. In the #GrandpaVicha case, the defendant will serve no prison time at this moment. Judge Colfax ruled that public safety and rehabilitation are better served through probation. This reflects a pattern of prior leniency, including earlier juvenile proceedings where probation was also given. Only if probation fails could he serve the full 8 years. Our family and community are devastated. #JusticeForVicha #RememberVicha #ProtectOurSeniors #SanFrancisco #StandForAsian

It’s about to become a felony in Idaho for a trans person to use the restroom. State prison for using the restroom. Let that sink in. These people have no limits.

All my friends in my native San Francisco are in a fury over a judge's decision to grant probation to a 24-year-old defendant who had assaulted and killed an 84-year-old man in an unprovoked attack. The judge—Linda Colfax—was appointed to the bench in 2011 and has subsequently run UNOPPOSED in elections. I hope voters remember this case the next time she is running to keep her seat. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/gra…

It's shocking that the board at @KQED would jeopardize its 501c3 status to arbitrarily exclude me from their 3/31 congressional debate. My campaign sent a demand letter yesterday and they refused to admit me in violation of the Equal Time statute. We will now be filing a formal complaint with the FEC.

San Francisco bus system ridership is down a bit, but revenue is down way more “Jilted San Francisco Muni passengers who suspect that others aren’t paying their bus fare can now feel vindicated… the transit agency’s rate of fare revenue per passenger is less than half what it was ten years ago”

🎥Mar09 2026 1:54pm Location 6th & Mission These people are paying people $5 dollars to sign a ballot, but as you watch the video their telling them what name to sign (which is someone else name) and what address to write. Seems kind of suspicious to me. Why not sign your own name and you can hear people doing it actually twice

@TheKevinDalton Listen to the lady closely They are asking someone to sign this person name and telling them to write what city the name is in
