San Francisco showed up. 🌈 Thank you for another incredible Pride weekend! We were proud to celebrate with you and help keep our city safe for everyone.

As Pride festivities continue this weekend, the SFPD will be on hand to ensure public safety. We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate. We also respect everyone's right to exercise their First Amendment rights, but we will not tolerate violence, property destruction, or criminal activity. Be safe this weekend and Happy Pride, San Francisco!

STATEMENT ON PLANNED MARCH: The SFPD will always protect the First Amendment right to peacefully protest. Criminal activity will not be tolerated. We remain unwavering in our support of the LGBTQ+ community and are committed to protecting and serving every community in San Francisco.

As you enjoy the festivities, remember to plan your way home before the celebration begins. Designate a sober driver, use public transit, or request a ride share. Let’s keep Pride safe for everyone.

During a citywide DUI Saturation Patrol last Friday, officers stopped 47 vehicles, issued 29 citations, made 1 DUI arrest, and conducted 6 field sobriety tests. 3 drivers were arrested for driving on a suspended/revoked license. Thank you, @SFTrafficSafety, for keeping our streets safe!
