This post isn't very nice. If you don't care about drama and stuff ignore it. People say that I want attention. That I'm jealous of them and developers, that I'm not a developer etc. A big chunk of what I post about is: 1. Realistic or live progress on things. 2. Useful information. 3. Exploit releases that I helped test. I come on and post because I see that otherwise people clickbait and say anything their mind makes up. I've also never asked someone to follow or share. I do call people out for bullshit though. I'm not jealous of any developer I help on projects especially exploit testing where discretion and patience is needed. I don't try to show off whatever coding I can do because the scene is not in short supply of low skilled people or highly skilled people. Although my demeanour is sometimes cold it's just the kind of person I am. Blunt and straightforward. There are people that know me a bit calmer. I respect people who are willing to listen and who bring real progress. And I do help with things. People have harassed me because of jailbreaks or on behalf of Master and Mustafa. 1st off where it started. Last year Master_s9 made a post about me (snipped in the post) being useless to the scene and etc. He blocked me on twitter and posted me up alongside a small argument I had with someone which ended up being a misunderstanding and me and that person figured it out and it ended amicably. For one reason or another either out of malice or because he didn't wait to see the conclusion he posted about it. Lots of people saw it and the takeaway was that I'm evil and etc. Master_s9 caught my attention when people had problems using his system backup for the lua games when they were popularly being used to jailbreak up to 10.01. People would often have keystone issues with the savedata so I repeatedly sent him save files and keystones and at times he'd revert to using broken files so I'd have to repeatedly message him about it and that post was his thanks. Some of you consider him a developer and etc, to me he doesn't do anything big or anything I can't do. It's nice that he does things you guys enjoy or want but that doesn't make him irreplaceable. The same way you could say I can easily be replaced too. Recently Master_s9 repeatedly has posted clickbait loaded posts about trying poopsploit on 13.20 where it obviously will never work. If you don't understand that what he's doing is bullshit and you think there's hope, enjoy. 2nd Mustafa_ps4-ps5 He tried to become a news source and always asks people to repost and follow and etc. I tried telling him a few times to stop reposting everything developers say on discord because it's just not good. And other users made fun of him for it and he would argue with them. He also edited Vue and claims that it has a better success rate. Things like this happen all the time in the scene, you always see someone reposting an exploit claiming they made it better that they fixed stability and etc. With Mustafa unfortunately if you aren't with him you're against him and he has outbursts and defaults to calling me mentally ill. He insulted me calling me nothing but a lab technician while ignoring developers who told him his changes did not make sense. And I reposted a video of a telegram where they made fun of developers. He and others claim it's fake. They also claimed I'm racist which is bullshit. Finally today these days there gonna be a bit of drama with PHU's Arksama. Arksama is upset about some stuff. And has decided to ignore licenses to code he's using. He spoke to all those who it concerns and still said that he would not comply with the legal terms. He says it's temporary but increased arguments are making it look like it'll be a permanent issue, alienating him from projects and people. With arksama it's an unfortunate situation because he can do good but is frustrated with some things in the scene. Preferably people should let him and the developers deal with it.

@NanospeedGamer That's what @callmemaj0r is reffering to. And yes, you can unpatch the BD-J after you fully jailbreak using P2JB and then use the BD-JB for future entries. This would be recommended for firmware 12.02 - 12.70. But you can't use poops which is much faster Kex unless you stay on 12

@NanospeedGamer Poops works only with Swrr (needs dup) up to 12. If you want to stay on 12 and be able to use poops with Bd-Jb, you need to use P2JB first to patch bdjstack.jar, and after you can use any disk to chain poops and BD-JB. But you have to be on 12.00, because poops needs 12.00 max.

@NanospeedGamer P2Jb currently takes around ~2 HOURS to trigger (if its successful) and after closing the game currently causes a kernel panic which leads to a console shutdown. So, for now, this is mainly used as a BD-J unpatch tool to use poops on 12.00 without swrr until that bug is fixed...

@Sonic_Iso @TeRex777_ Probably yes, but do you think swrr userland will be "unpatchable" or hard to patch (cos' of its link with PS2 emu) by Sony and maybe will work on future, newer firmwares, also? Thought if it was "easy to patch" they would have done it already in 13.0 or 13.2, isn't it?

swrr willl be totally useless for jb really soon. however, keep in mind you get real homebrew with swrr where you cant with anything else.

Changing in plans I wont be deleting my X account but I will not be developing anything. My projects will stay the same and wont be deleted. But nothing new will come out. If someday I felt like coming back I would try but probably I need to live my life. The acc will be private

I will quit as a developer. This account will be private after an hour and will be deleted after another hour. I choose my health and my freedom instead of being working all day and night and not being able to live like a human being. From now and on I am not max. I am human.

This thing made my mental health messed up , gave me depression even tho I already had it. Everything is turning into the worst and I cannot even live like a normal human being anymore due to how much I’m being tired and stressed. It’s the end of “MexrlDev” forever. Thank you.

@NanospeedGamer @calmboy2019 Yep... Poops only works up to 12.00. You need another kex for this. Maybe we'll get the new one @gezine_dev found recently. He showed debug settings working on a 13.2 PS5 in that short video. But that will take time, maybe months until will (if it actually will) be disclosed.

So in the end it seems the reason for expiry is that, in the first 14 days your new game license is a 30 day one. This is to avoid refund scams on their end. After the 14 days your license gets updated to the usual permanent one. Really weird they didn't communicate it though...

As of April 2026, reports indicate a mandatory 30-day online check-in for digital games on PS5, affecting newer firmware like 12.20. If a console remains offline for over a month, digital titles may become unplayable until the license is renewed via the PlayStation Network. That is not my case.
