@PaulShieber I would consider myself a recovering smoker as well, but that's just me. I feel that "recovering alcoholic" is basically just mainstream terminology. "Recovering smoker" is not. I do refer to myself as a "Recovering alcoholic and addict" as I used drugs, drank and smoked.

Morning #RecoveryPosse A serious question if I may. Yesterday I referred to myself as a recovering alcoholic. The person I was speaking to asked why I call myself that, qualifying it that nicotine is addictive but she's never met a recovering smoker. Thoughts?
