The left would have a much better argument about birthright citizenship if Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment did *not* contain this limiting clause (emphasized below in all caps), which the left chronically ignores: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

Nope cannot be deprived of property. Throughout history children are considered property of the parents. This is to protect the children from the state, and the state from the children. Naturalization is to be applied for and is not a right. Even American children are treated as property unless the parents are convicted of a serious enough crime cannot be taken away. - They are subject to and under the jurisdiction of the nation they are subject to or subject of. Now there are protections in place for those trying to naturalize and correctly using the process, if not however, DHS has jurisdiction as stated in the constitution.
