New paper in Paper in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin! You better like this or I’ll post it again! @ChrBuettner, @SelmaRudert, and I investigated how the popularity of the last post influenced subsequent activity on social media. 1/n

🙏Last week I had the great honour to give my inaugural lecture at the @UniBasel_en to officially celebrate my title of PD / Dr. Habil. Very grateful to all my colleagues @SocPsychBasel, my family & my students for attending the talk and more generally for the ongoing support!

#MeetTheTeam! @reservoir_reine Natalia Bogatyreva joined the team in December 2022 to work on a large survey data concerning the frequency of ostracism in Europe. Besides that, she likes to study conspiracy beliefs and get confused with Bayesian analysis. psychologie.unibas.ch/en/persons/bog…

#MeetTheTeam! Rainer Greifeneder has been around since Sept 2012. He loves designing experiments and thinking about new + old puzzles to solve. His main research interests center around fluency and social exclusion psychologie.unibas.ch/en/persons/rai…

This paper also has a history! At first submission a (very clever but mean) Reviewer 2 quoted us Zuckermann: "personality traits and scales proliferate like rabbits" (aka we don't need your scale)... Paper was thereafter nicknamed The Rabbit. With now a commemorative plate 🐰🧡
