Congratulations to our back to back Sourcing 4.0 champions (Perry is the 4x Champ!) who cashed in on their prize! They had their students working with sources the first few days of school in efforts to build historical thinking! @DeWitt_Perry @NewmanSmithHS 🏆 #cfbsourceforce

Had a valuable lesson in Mrs. Buchanan’s class today! We focused on lateral reading and how to spot credible sources in the sea of information online. Building these skills is crucial for navigating today’s digital landscape.🌐🔍 #CriticalThinking #DigitalSkills @CFB_Soc_Studies

Coach Hurst’s AP Gov class using the 27 grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence to find and make comparisons to any perceived or real issues that the American people may have with the United States government in 2024. Way to source!

Relevant sourcing had found its way to @vivianfieldms! Student’s analyzed “Toy Story” to see how sources could be used in modern context. Way to go Vikings!

This year, we had a goal to build more relevant sourcing opportunities for students. Trojans @NewmanSmithHS have been hard at work sourcing and corroborating with their “Who won the Olympics in 2008?” Lesson looking at two different sources to decide the answer! @CoachSGonzo
