Welcome to our official twitter! We are up and running for the new academic year 2024/25. We have loads of socials, study sessions and trips planned for this year and are looking forward to building our society up😊 Social Science and Psychology students always welcome🙌🙌

Our 2024 committee is Cris (he/him) as Chair, Lucy (she/her) as Secretary, Manju (she/her) as Events Coordinator, Rachel (she/her) as Communications Officer and Noelle (they/them) as Treasurer! 🙌

OUR FIRST PUB SOCIAL✨💃 🎃 on Thursday the 24th October we will be meeting on campus at the Re:Union bar at 6:15pm for a quick drink before heading into town to go to Wetherspoons at 7pm. We have the option of a Halloween theme as well so feel free to come in costume!

We were chuffed to see so many of you at our freshers stall and signed up to the society!!! We had our first meet and greet session a couple of weeks ago and got to know our new members and discuss our upcoming plans😊 drop us at dm if you are still interested in joining x

‼️ Volunteers needed for lunchtime stalls‼️The social science society and the social science staff are teaming up to raise money for Ukraine all profits will be going to charity to be able to support Ukraine and it’s people in their time of need 🇺🇦. If you do want to help, mail!

Scottish night clubs - and in particular glasgow night clubs are becoming increasingly unsafe - more assaults, harassment & spiking. Not enough is being done to combat this. Hope everyone will join in the boycott on the 28th.
