What @JDVance actually said: he "doesn’t like that this is a fact of life." You are correct that the constant threat of school shootings is a recent problem though but here’s the thing… We‘ve had the same guns for 60+ years. So what changed? The guns didn’t. We did. Our culture did. The mental health of kids did. We need to address the root issue of what’s making people more violent instead of attacking our 2nd Amendment.
